This beautiful platter  is three layers (3/8inches) thick. The windows of the piece are from a high fire slab which has been cut to show the intricate pattern glass takes at a high temperature. The bordering layers consist of two layers of gray and one center piece of yellow. This gives the piece a striking view from the edge.   Matte finish.
