Bob was introduced to glass by Susan Hutsko. He began his journey in glass in 2015, taking a week-long comprehensive class. That is all it took to peak his interest. Bob has a great design and creative sense which is not surprising as he had a long career in the arts. Bob is retired from music education and semi-retired from performance.  You will often find a musical theme in his glasswork, whether it is an obvious visual of a trumpet or music being expressed through color.
