If you like shiny things, join us and learn how to make dichroic fused glass jewelry. This will be a two session class.

Day 1 you will learn:

• ‍the history of dichroic glass,
• ‍tips for working with dichroic glass
• ‍various design techniques
• ‍what to expect after firing.

You will make six to eight pieces using different techniques.

Day 2 Class participants will:

• ‍view and discuss the results of last week’s firings
• ‍if needed, prepare pieces for second firing
• ‍learn how to finish a piece by cold working or fire polishing
• ‍cold work pieces
• ‍learn how to glue and drill pieces

 Class includes all glass materials, a set of jewelry findings, and a post class visit if necessary. The option to make additional pieces at additional $ charge may be available as time permits.
