Foundation Enameling

New for 2025 we're delighted to offer a beginner class in glass enameling!  In this half-day class, students will have opportunity to work with glass enamel paints across our three preferred manufacturers, learning their unique differences in color application, uses and firings, along with other essential tips.  Students will make two (2) 7"x7" pieces, fired post class - ready in about 1 week - 10 days.  No artistic ability necessary as we'll be providing a selection of line drawing templates for class; you can even bring your own!  ALSO included in the course for attendees to take home are:

  • Hand-out packs covering details of all three manufacturers and full class content;
  • An exclusive "Colors for Earth - Sampler Kit" (inc. storage box; 14 x 0.5oz colors; mix agent; mix pots; paint brushes and mixer tool) PLUS 6 design templates of your choice to play with at home.

This is a great course for people looking for an entry-level class and hobby supplies to work from home - whether you have a studio/kiln or not.  You can explore this decorative glass hobby in the comfort of your own home post tutorial, and for a nominal fee, bring in your creations ready to fire at Silo Gallery & Glass Studios.

Don't miss this unique opportunity!  Sign up early.  Light lunch also included.

We look forward to welcoming you.
