Silo Glass Studio and Gallery sells Bullseye COE 90 glass, supplies and tools for glass artists. Open Studio hours are available for experienced glass artists (or Fusing 101 equivalent) when the time is not in conflict with a scheduled class. Come play in the studio, this includes a work space with basic tools and supplies. Silo Staff will be around to assist you.
Composition area is $8 an hour (1/2 hour minimum) or if you are working on something from one of the classes, it is included with the class. Tools include cutter, L square, breaker, grozing pliers, pencil, pen, sharpie, ruler, scoop, brush and tweezers. Also, the use of a small grinder.
Working in the cold shop is $20 an hour. Available coldworking tools include: grinders, ring saws, glass lathe, wet tile saw, 12" & 24" lapidary wheels, 106" wet belt sander, drill press, and sand blasters.
Open Studio
$8 per hour (1/2 hour minimum up to 2 hours)
1/2 day (3.5 hours) $25
Full day (6 hours) $45
Supervised / Assisted $45 per hour (Dependent on Staff involvement in 10 min. increments)
